Responsibilities
Negotiate, administer, extend, and close both standard and non-standard contracts.
Advise management on contractual rights, obligations, and risk mitigation strategies.
Participate in proposal preparation, contract review, and negotiations for terms and conditions.
Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and company policies.
Interface with internal teams, government officials, and international customers.
Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and historical data.
Support program execution, timely deliverables, and contract closeout activities.
Qualifications
Basic:
Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience in contracts, finance, or related fields, or Master's/J.D. with 6+ years.
Knowledge of government and international contracting, including FAR/DFARS.
Experience with fixed-price and cost-reimbursement contracts.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; U.S. Citizenship required.
Preferred:
Experience with U.S. Navy or U.K. sustainment contracts in the defense industry.
Prior SAP experience and current security clearance.
J.D. or MBA preferred.
