As a Systems Administrator on our team, you'll establish and manage networks in support of cyberspace operations and apply advanced skills or extensive technical expertise, including full industry knowledge. You'll develop innovative solutions to complex problems, work without considerable direction, and mentor and supervise team members. You'll support Windows and Linux systems engineering efforts in system design and evaluation, solution engineering, software development, or system administration. You'll use your passion to learn new skills and techniques while helping to identify and implement database solutions and improvements. Join us. The world can't wait.
You Have:
- 5+ years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining Linux environments
- 2+ years of experience building and maintaining virtual environments using VMware
- 2+ years of experience designing, deploying, configuring, and managing Kubernetes infrastructure and common software solutions that support micro-service architectures such as a service mesh solution
- Experience configuring, managing, and optimizing GPU infrastructure and Compute Unified Device Architecture (CUDA) software stacks
- Experience supporting national cyber missions in offensive or defensive capacities, including USCC or the service cyber components
- Ability to be flexible for shift work
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- HS diploma or GED and 7+ years of experience with Information Technology, or Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience with Information Technology
- Linux+ and CCNA Certifications
- DoD 8570 Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II Certification such as Security+ CE Certification
Nice If You Have:
- Experience operating and maintaining Microsoft Windows and Linux servers
- Experience working with Secure Boot and Dynamic Kernel Module Support (DKMS) to install and configure key system requirements that may not be readily available in production environments
- Experience as a network administrator or systems engineer
- Experience with Assured Compliant Assessment Solution (ACAS) or Tenable Nessus security scanners
- Knowledge of different layers of the technology stack, including network, application frameworks, database systems, and vendor solutions

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,900.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
