Job Description
Upon award, BTAS will be filling potential openings for the Space Systems Command (SSC), which plays a critical role in advancing the United States' space capabilities. SSC develops and delivers cutting-edge solutions that strengthen and protect national security. Specifically, SSC/SZBC focuses on Space Domain Awareness (SDA) systems, Defensive and Offensive Space Control (DSC/OSC) capabilities, and space test range assets supporting the Department of Defense's (DoD) current and future operational needs.
This role supports multiple SSC/SZ-BC programs and other initiatives across the Space Force, Air Force, and allied organizations, ensuring mission success and operational excellence in the space domain.

Primary Responsibilities
Provide administrative, HR, and executive-level support for business operations and personnel management.
Manage personnel records, travel arrangements, meetings, and executive schedules.
Oversee civilian recordkeeping, personnel actions, and HR-related documentation.
Support compliance with SSC, Space Force, Air Force, and DoD policies.
Prepare reports, research data, and handle information requests.
Maintain and transition standard functional databases for mission support.
Administer awards and recognition programs for military and civilian staff.
Use Microsoft Project and other MS Office tools to maintain schedules and documentation.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) required.
Experience: Minimum 20 years in personnel management and administrative operations (civilian/military), including 5 years supporting Air Force programs.
Expertise in Civilian HR Management, Military & Civilian Manpower Management, and Information/Operations Support.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including Project), Defense Civilian Personnel Data System (DCPDS), Customer Support Unit App, and Online Unit Manning Doc.
Must be recognized as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Industry Leader.
Supervisory Responsibilities
May supervise or direct the work of others.
Work Environment
Professional office setting with standard office equipment.
Requires remaining stationary approximately 80% of the time.
Minimal travel required.
