Role Summary
The Product Support position provides technical and lifecycle support for Space Systems Command (SSC) programs, supporting the U.S. Space Force, Air Force, and allied organizations. The role ensures mission-critical systems maintain operational readiness through integration of system engineering, logistics, acquisition, and sustainment activities.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support and lifecycle logistics from development to sustainment
Support systems engineering, architecture, logistics planning, and acquisition activities
Develop product support requirements and ensure compliance with statutory/regulatory directives
Oversee support functions for operational readiness of weapons systems, subsystems, and components
Implement and manage the 12 Product Support Elements (PSEs)
Manage military airlift cargo using FACTS and DEAMS systems
Support DevSecOps, rapid prototyping, and fielding of space systems
Maintain technical order management and assist with new technical order strategies
Participate in RFI, RFP, SOW, and PWS development, technical order acquisition, and review meetings
May supervise the work of other personnel
Minimum Qualifications
BA/BS degree required
Recognized SME in product support and systems engineering integration
Experience establishing product support strategies aligned with acquisition strategies
Ability to integrate system engineering quantitative characteristics with logistics and product support elements
Experience integrating procurement, budgeting, and logistics activities to sustain system fielding
Work Environment
Professional office environment
Standard office equipment used regularly
Must remain in a stationary position ~80% of the time
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $138,000 – $175,000
